All Fired Up Reno proudly supports The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust as our chosen charitable cause.
A portion of our proceeds go to those in the facility who help nurse and save orphaned baby elephants, rhinos and giraffes in Africa. The elephants are in a critical situation with Ivory demand surging again, not only in China, but here in America as well! This is crazy and must stop. One elephant is poached every 15 minutes. At this rate THERE WILL BE NO ELEPHANTS in that area roaming by the year 2025!
The Hot Spot believes every little bit counts, and in addition to donating to DSWT ourselves, we can also use our little platform to help spread awareness. PLEASE WATCH Kristin Davis' powerful documentary movie 'Gardeners of Eden' It inspired us, let it inspire you.
UPDATE 2020: In addition to our foster babies "Enkikwe" a baby orphan elephant who survived a lion attack and "Kiko" a baby orphan giraffe, this year we added "Maktao" another orphaned baby elephant!
In addition to our regular support/donation, 100% of proceeds of pottery elephants purchased at All Fired Up will go to this cause. So come in and paint an elephant to help save a baby elephant! #weloveelephants
